Originally I was looking for a new desert boot as my leather Clarks are starting to show there wear a bit more than I traditionally like. I own a few different brands and couldn't quite find the right brown suede desert boot at a reasonable price. I like quality footwear that offer great value. I came across Naot and having never heard of the brand was wondering why the high ticket price? So I researched including asking someone from Israel whom I know and their first hand review matched everything I read. I made the decision and got these Commanders on sale in a rugged yet supple brown suede. At first they seem really tight at the top of the foot near the tongue but after my first wear they fit like a glove. They are arguably the most comfortable shoe I own and that's saying a lot as I only buy quality shoes for looks with comfort being a close second criteria. They are perhaps a bit narrow but I have a narrow foot, if you are a wife footer perhaps going up a size would be helpful, but these are worth every penny at full price, on sale it is tremendous value. I will keep my eye on more styles and should they meet my aesthetic need I won't hesitate to buy another pair.
